Born in Accra in 1982, is a Ghanaian artist who graduated with a Diploma in Fine Arts from the Ghanatta College of Arts and Design in 2004. He is based in Accra and his unique style reflects inspiration from people and the environment. Boadi’s bold and adventurous approach sets him apart from his contemporaries, showcasing his artistic maturity.
His diverse artworks cover various themes, including portraits of friends and neighbors, explorations of his Christian faith, and depictions of the evolving urban landscape of Accra. Boadi’s palette is energetic and vibrant, infusing a sense of urgency into his subjects.
The main tool Boadi employs in his artistic expression is knives, which he uses to define and interpret his art. To him, art encompasses everything, and everything is art as long as it exists.
